Holi - a vibrant and
colourful Indian festival, celebrated with much gusto and enthusiasm. One bridges social gaps, creates special bonds of love with family & friends and also encourages peace, harmony & love amongst all. Holi is celebrated by way of showering water or dry colours (Pichkaris & Gulaal) at each other, exchanging sweets and making merry. And none understand and realise the importance of celebrating festivals for Indians living away from their country and cultural roots more than us at "Lilac Avenues". Hence the birth of "Rang de Basanti... Holi Hai" in 2006. Ever since, it is and shall always be the endeavour of "Lilac Avenues" to create a premiere platform for Indian festival celebrations where the true cultural essence is presented in the modern context with panache. |
